I love Thanksgiving!  I love getting together with family and friends, and enjoying  all the traditional things that go along with the holiday.  It was a simpler time not so very long ago, when just being together was the reason and highlight of the holiday. Now, life has happened and many of the special, warm traditions we shared have been pushed aside.  Over the years, the family has expanded and relocated, traditions have changed, and new ones have been adopted.  Our loved ones are scattered across the country, and we are now 'in demand' and have to schedule our holiday visits!  This year it's with my brother and his delightful wife in NC; next year it will be with our daughter and her fella in NJ.  I miss those simpler times, I miss them a lot, but still...I love Thanksgiving!  And, ... 2004 is still open!
