Sweet and Sour
Chicken
(4 servings)
1 lb skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut
into 1 inch cubes
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 cup milk
3-4 T butter
1/2 cup chicken broth
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1 T soy sauce
4 T ketchup
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Combine flour and
seasoned salt in plastic or paper bag. Dip chicken pieces in
milk and then toss in flour/salt mixture. Brown lightly and
evenly in butter.
Combine chicken broth,
sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup and garlic powder in baking dish.
Add cooked chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 mins. Serve
over rice. |
